Who Is The Killer (Episode One) App Reviews

100 Customer Reviews:

I downloaded this game based on the reviews from the previous users, but the game crashes when you talk to the Judge about the Colonel! I cannot go any further and that is to bad as the game is quite cute. FYI - I find that it crashes after the word often in the Judge/Colonel conversation. Could it be a OS X Mountain Lion bug??

a bit buggy, but great!

Loved this game. There were a couple of instances where the game froze, but it was super fun to play. Cant wait for the next episode!

Dont know why this game has such high ratings… The story is poorly thought out and the game is not interesting. The games focus on forming sentences out of words given - the sentences often have heinous grammatical and spelling errors. I think a game that has such a basis on constructing sentences should have a creator who can actually create them properly himself. Clearly done by someone who has English as a second language. A very poor game, indeed.

This was a good game that gets you really thinking but I thought it went by to fast, I would have been able to finsh it in one day but I spanned it out between three. So, although I liked the game I wish it could have been more of a story where you have to find the weapos that killed the people instead of just trying to put together sentances.

Game is interesting, but spelling and grammar are atrocious. There was also a glitch in which the game froze during one word puzzle, although I was able to work around it by reloading the game and skipping that particular puzzle.

enjoyed

I really enjoyed playing, there is alot of reading and the grammar slows you down for a couple seconds but all in all its fun.

Amazinggggg game. would of gave it 5 start but the grammar was a bit choppy at times along with certain things being a bit "wordy" and it made things difficult. It read like someone who has English as a second language was the writer for certain bits. other then that, I LOVED this game!

Highly overrated

Although an interesting storyline, poor grammar and bugs cause this game to be quite overrated.

This is defnitely an interesting game. The story is well written, which brings a lot of fun when you try to connect every piece of information; however, there are bugs need to be fixed. For instance, when I try to interrogate the Judge about the Colonel, the program freezes.

I liked the game but there could have been diferent types of puzzles. All those words mess with your eyes. Not to mention the spelling and grammar errors and that glitch that happens when you interview the judge about the colonel. I liked the storyline but im expecting more for the next chapter.

This game has a really neat concept. Im a big fan of the alternative style of play, and the puzzle motif (and Im not shy of reading). The grammar made it a lot less fun to play though. When youre trying to build pre-determined sentences out of floating words, it becomes very difficult if the grammar is incorrect. The same thing goes for the anagram mini-game: some of the words were misspelled, making it really hard to pick them out. The fact that the mini-games give you "logic points" that help you get more actions for the next day would have been far more enticing with proper spelling and grammar. All in all, the game would get 5 stars when cleaned up. As it stands I can only justify 3.

Only crashes

Opens, doesnt even make it to title screen before it crashes.

I figured out the killer, his/her (wont ruin it for you) motive and story within the first round. It was incredibly, painfully obvious. Save yourself the time, this game is not a challenge at all.

this game is extremely frustrating….the point of the game is to be eventually allowed to accuse the murderer but you cant even do that. extremely horrible and frustrating dont download even if it is a free game.

thereveiwer16 v1.5.3 · 13 years ago

Well, the person before me complained about not being able to accuse the person he/she wanted. First of all, to be able to accuse someone of murder, you must ask around and talk to other people about the different suspects (or your only suspect). Youre supposed to be investigating before you go pointing fingers! :-D Once youre further up in your investigation about the different characters / suspects, and youve asked the right people, you can accuse someone. So personally I think its normal you cant accuse anyone right from the start and "just because". It was actually quite entertaining! And I will love to play the next chapter/episode! Thank you!

I did really really enjoy this. I found myself very caught up in it until I finished. The only thing that bothered me to be honest is I found the word games a bit repetitive. I plan to play the future chapters, and maybe they agreed and added some more variety into it. I definitely say to try it though.

Repetitive and boring!

This was a complete waste of time and not fun at all.
